The Micro-Impacts of a 20-Something

The Last Supper

The Last Supper was the last large program of the Winter 2013 term. We held it during week 10 (the week before finals week) to help everyone prepare and nourish themselves before a rough week of studying. It was really fun to organize the event and feed hundreds of residents – oh and the power went out at one point. Yep. But we found the circuit breaker and fixed it in no time!

In ResLife, we’re big on food – for many reasons:

1. It’s easy and makes a lot of people happy.

2. It serves a basic human need.

3. Most residents (and college students) are broke – especially towards the end of the term.

4. As an RA, we like it because the residents will definitely show us.

Thus, we cook food for them and give it to them for free. They love it. We love it. Everyone wins!
