The Micro-Impacts of a 20-Something

Viking Dash Fun Run

To encourage community, health, and to celebrate spring, I was really excited to host a fun run with my RA co-workers. Because of PSU’s urban campus, and the resources we had, we wanted to keep the course from crossing any major streets. Thinking creatively, we created a .5 mile course running through PSU’s famous park blocks. This made the run both fun and safe. We also had a BBQ cookout (a staple at most of our Westside events) to feel the runners after. The Viking Dash Fun Run was a great opportunity to celebrate spring in a fun and healthy way!
